The Ecological Ring
Recognition for positive changes in ecosystems, biodiversity or the welfare of living systems.
Recognition criteria
Show the environmental problem addressed, the action undertaken and an identifiable ecological benefit.
Eligibility and fair evaluation
Open to eligible nominations under the general programme rules. The positive impact, even if small, must be identifiable. Nominations are compared with candidates of a comparable type. Self-nomination is welcome; awards are not based on prestige or popularity alone.
